The AU MENTAL method
A structured approach, built with the athlete, not for them. Three principles: autonomy, responsibility and applied method, taking their environment into account: family, club, school, people around them.
01
Identify and question what holds you back: a belief, an automatic reaction, an identity too tied to results.
02
Develop a new response: a routine, another way of reading the situation, a sequence after a mistake, an action plan.
03
Repeat until that response holds up in real situations, in training as in competition.
What we work on
Playing with all your resources, without the fear of making mistakes deciding for you.
Based on what you control, not on the last result.
Routines before, during and after performance.
Understanding your emotions, recovering better and keeping the balance between sport and life.
Clear goals, well-prepared transitions, better-organised daily life.
Shared reference points to support without adding pressure.
Our formats
For athletes
Tailor-made support, built from your story, your goals and your environment.
For clubs, academies and agencies
Structured, long-term interventions for players, staff and families.

“The mental side of football is often underestimated. I have been working on it with AU MENTAL for a year now, and they have helped me enormously to grow. If I can give one piece of advice: don't neglect your mental side. Work on it as much as your physical and technical game.”

“I used to do everything for my son. Thanks to AU MENTAL, I learned to let go and give him more responsibility. It completely changed the dynamic at home, as well as his performance on the pitch.”
HBHajar Ben-AhmedMother of a young footballer
“I wanted to thank you for taking the time to write to my son this weekend. I'm convinced it did him good. You had already prepared him well on Friday morning, which helped him stay focused even though he clearly wasn't among the coach's first choices in the opening matches of the tournament. I could see he kept smiling and, as a result, he was able to seize his chance and make a difference as soon as it came.”

Frequently asked questions
For athletes of any level who want to better understand how they work, look after their well-being or develop their mental resources. Parents can also be supported in their role with their child.
There is no strict age limit for individual support. We generally prefer to start from the age of 10, taking into account the child's maturity, needs and situation. For a younger child, a first conversation helps us assess together what would be appropriate.
No. You can also start to get to know yourself better, prepare for a transition, clarify your goals or build reference points before a difficulty arises.
Both formats are possible. Together we choose the one that suits your situation and the options offered by your coach.
This first free 45-minute session is a time to talk about your background, your situation and your expectations. It helps us understand your needs and consider together what support would suit you.
There is no single number of sessions for everyone. The frequency and length of the support are defined together, according to your needs, your goals and your progress.
Fees depend on the plan and the length of the support. We present them after the discovery session, once we understand your needs.
Our starting point is the human being. Well-being, emotions, identity and life balance all have their place in the support, just as much as sporting demands and goals.
